On Saturday, 14 November, House Rules welcomes Richy Ahmed to The Penthouse, the rooftop nightclub at FIVE Palm Jumeirah. Every DJ has their own way of leading a dancefloor, and Richy Ahmed is arriving with a deep understanding of what makes one tick.
Born in South Shields in the North East of England, Richy has built a career on genuine long-term integrity. He first experienced electronic music as a raver, music fan and promoter before becoming a producer, and that wide experience shapes every set. Today he is the founder of label and event imprint FOUR THIRTY TWO, a home for the authentic DNA of true house music.
A Sound Built on Groove
Expect tech house and underground house built around a signature sound: punchy basslines, infectious grooves and four-to-the-floor momentum from the first beat to the last drop.
From his breakout release “The Drums” and his A&R work for Hot Creations, Richy has gone on to release on respected labels including FFRR, Strictly Rhythm, Crosstown Rebels, Truesoul and Play It Say It. He has also remixed the likes of New Order, Groove Armada and London Grammar, a catalogue that shows just how far his sound reaches.

House Rules brings a different international guest DJ to The Penthouse each Saturday to set the soundtrack, and the rules. Their sound. Their energy. Their rules.
