Alex Wann: From “Milkshake” to International Stages
Parisian DJ and producer Alex Wann broke through internationally in 2023 with his rework of Kelis’ “Milkshake”. The release held the #1 position on Beatport for multiple consecutive weeks and was named an Essential New Tune by Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1.
He followed with releases including “My Love” and “Set Me Free”, alongside remixes and releases for some of electronic music’s leading artists and labels.
His rise has taken him to stages including Tomorrowland, EDC Las Vegas and Cercle Festival, bringing his percussion-driven, melodic approach to dancefloors around the world. Now, Alex Wann in Dubai sees the Parisian artist behind the decks at Bohemia Beach Club.
SONA: Black Coffee’s Son, Building His Own Name
SONA is the son of Grammy Award-winning South African DJ and producer Black Coffee, one of the most internationally recognised names in electronic music. Growing up surrounded by music gave SONA an early introduction to house and electronic sounds, but he has since been building his own name through his productions and performances.
Black Coffee’s son reached a worldwide audience when he produced and co-wrote Drake’s “Texts Go Green” from the album Honestly, Nevermind, marking a significant production credit early in his career.
His sound draws from Afro-house, deep house and electronic influences, bringing together groove, percussion and a contemporary approach to the genre. SONA in Dubai brings that sound to Bohemia Beach Club alongside Alex Wann for one Saturday on the shores of Palm Jumeirah.
Bohemia Presents: A New Season of Saturdays in Dubai
Bohemia Presents is back for a new season at FIVE Palm Jumeirah, bringing leading international DJs and electronic music artists to Bohemia Beach Club every Saturday.
Set between the Arabian Gulf and Dubai Marina skyline, the new season brings a calendar of house and electronic music to Dubai’s beachfront, with sunset sets building into late-night performances and high-energy Saturdays.
