Catch THEMBA LIVE at The Penthouse

 Get ready to party because this week, Skyline Thursday will welcome back South African native THEMBA to grace the deck at The Penthouse’s popular weekly party.

Rising to fame with the global dance scene in 2018, with a string of high-profile events and music releases under his belt,  he quickly became a resident at Black Coffee’s party in HI Ibiza, with shows in Amnesia, Ushuaia, Blue Marlin and Heart, whilst also touring 20 other countries in 2019!

Taking musical inspiration from his African roots, incorporating local singers, songwriters and percussionists to create his own unique take on electronic music. His music is heavily supported by the likes of Black Coffee, Hot Since 82, Adam Beyer, Pete Tong, Damian Lazarus and many more of the worlds’ influential artists and musicians.

His distinct music style has been recognized and appreciated by the likes of Mixmag, DJ Magazine Ibiza, DJ UK, Ushuaia Magazine, Faze, Mixmag Brazil, and Deep House Amsterdam! His mesmerizing DJ mixes have featured on the radio airwaves including Pete Tongs BBC Radio 1 show, Apple Music's Beats 1 and Ibiza Sonica! To crown his meteoric rise, Themba was nominated for ‘Best Newcomer’ and ‘Best Breakthrough DJ’ at the Ibiza DJ awards, and also presented a short documentary for Beatport called ‘Monitor Johannesburg’.
